Thurs 10/17/24: Jakob Two Trees, Issaquah's Troll | Issaquah, WA - Official Website (issaquahwa.gov), Issaquah, WA
10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. with van ride from Seattle's Jefferson Community Center, or meet at hike location at 10:40 a.m.
Continuing our troll adventure, we will search for "Jacob Two Trees." Jacob has a ponytail band made by the Snoqualmie Tribe holding his hair in place. There is a necklace of birdhouses over his fur, inviting forest creatures to spend time with him. It is an easy 2 mile out and back hike from the Issaquah Community Center on the Rainier Trail to find Jakob and other plants and wildlife along the trail. This trip includes an additional walking tour through downtown Issaquah, bringing the hike to 3 miles total, all on easy terrain.
