The December Garden Discovery program engaged participants in creating seasonal wreaths with evergreen branches (provided courtesy of Seattle Parks and Recreation), and winter accents such as eucalyptus, holly, and ivy.
"I appreciated being able to use our hands to create something that ended up beautiful. This wreath will last a while and be a good memory of today. It’s nice to be able to make memories with my brother." - a participant in the garden discovery program.
The Garden Discovery Program is a partnership of UW MBWC and Seattle Parks and Recreation, with support from Aegis Living Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.
