Today was a sunny fall day. During our garden exploration, participants remarked on the new glass art, the peaceful sound of the gurgling fountain, and the bounty of flowers and greenery of all textures in Maude's Garden. As one participant said: "There is happiness between the flowers." The October Garden Discovery program engaged participants in creating a "perpetual flower" using dried corncobs, corn husks, twine, and bamboo sticks.
