"I come from a background of education and nursing, as both an early elementary school teacher and a clinic nurse. I enjoy caring for others and helping them achieve physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. In my personal life, I've had loved ones who were touched by stroke, aphasia, and Lewy body dementia. I came to appreciate how their experiences shaped them and their caregivers. I also realized that being a part of their support system brought me great joy, too."
